There is a kind of day that is disappearing.

The stone is, literally, quartz that has been through something warm and kept the warmth.
This is not a metaphor anyone invented. It is chemistry.
But the experience of wearing the color yellow at the wrist — particularly this particular yellow, soft and not overpowering, warm without being loud — does seem to produce something. Not transformation. Nothing so dramatic. Just a small, repeated reminder: warmth exists. It is available.
