We believe stones carry meaning.
Just in the way that all objects carry meaning — through their history, their appearance, their texture, the attention you bring to them. A natural crystal that formed over millions of years inside the earth carries a kind of weight that a plastic bead does not. When you hold it, you are holding something ancient. That is simply true, regardless of what you believe happens next.
We believe handmade things carry warmth.
There is a difference between something made by a machine and something made by a person. The machine’s product is perfect and identical. The person’s product carries time, attention, and the particular decisions made by a human hand on a particular afternoon. That difference is not nothing. It is, we think, everything.
We believe rituals matter.
Not ceremonies that require study or equipment or a particular tradition. Just the small, repeated acts that say: this moment is different from the others. I am paying attention here.
